60s era DateJust power issues

My 1960 Rolex model 1601 (a Rolex Datejust), an automatic, does not seem to hold much of power reserve. I am a student, and after sitting in class for 30 minutes, I will find that it has stopped. What was the power reserve of this model era. Or, is just that I do not move about enough?

Sounds like the watch needs a service. I don't know what the DJ power reserve should be, but submariners of the 60s have a nearly 48-hour power reserve.
