Tudor Submariner No crown guard on Ebay?

Has anyone seen this yet? : http://cgi.ebay.com/Rolex-Tudor-Oyst...item2c5bc13de8

sorry if it's been posted already, but I'm just curious to know more about what this is.

It is a Big Crown Tudor 7924 as stated. It actually looks pretty nice to me.

A 7924 Sub. is high on the list for any serious Tudor collector ...

...and it looks like a nice one to me.

Morgan's fine website (link below) has some good info. on all Tudor Subs including the 7924's. Here's the link -

Ebay auctions like that rub me the wrong way. In all honesty the pictures are so low-res that it could be anything. But hey - if you can do a local pickup - go for it. I guess market on this - is around 20-25k - so im not sure there will be much upside.

Cheers

Morgan

Hi Morgan - good to hear from you ....

I'd guess - like all Rolex offerings - franken 7924's pop up around the traps.

In your experience, is it a model that is actively faked (cases, dials, hands etc) ?
