How Does This Dial Look

I don't know much about Rolex dials (but I've already learned an enormous amount) and have studied the fantastic GMT dial version thread started by Orchi Still I don't feel confident enough to come to a conclusion with out a little help. The lume on this 1675 looks like its been applied with a spritzer... what else is refinished? and is the dial savable?

The dial is wrecked and the case is polished to death. Can it be saved, IMO no.

It certainly looks like the Bezel has been changed, but the dial looks ok, but i have seen better, in my humble opinion,

The eleven o'clock plot looks like it if flaking and possibly the 9 as well. Difficult to tell with a scratched crystal. The crown guards look to be even and lugs look thick from the top. Difficult to evaluate lugs from one view only. Ideally need multiple views to evaluate lug width and length. I would pass and have passed on watches with flaking tritium and have no regrets. So many nicer ones out there.

Is there a little white dot in between the masteR legs ? Tritium flake that got stuck or just an effect in the picture ?

The case is a wreck, and the dial may have been relumed. Not a good buy IMHO.

I agree with David. I would pass based on the dial alone. Wait for a better one! If this one is cheaper, you're going to get what you paid for and you may regret it later.

Me too thanks everyone for the input, needless to say I'll be giving this one a pass. I was attracted by the price and as has been clearly pointed out you get what you pay for. I'm going to have to stop being so tight-fisted if I'm going to get my hands on a nice 1675
