For me SS subc black is iconic, SS GMT Master II black is more bang for the bucks.

I'd go for the cal.3186 ref.16710 GMT-Master, IMHO. Love the old classic GMT's!!!

Both feel similar on the wrist, but the crown of the GMT II is harder to work with than the Sub's.

Wanted the GMT since I have the sea dweller, but the sub LV is just so beautiful. I wish I have more $$$. What a dilemma!!

pros & cons:
basic functionality. a)will you use 2 time zones? usually for travel or business. b)timing bezel on sub has a number of uses for every day. get the watch that will be of more use to you and you will grow to appreciate and value its functionality, solidifying your decision. |
