Datejust Bracelet Size Question
Before I continue, please forgive me if this question has already been addressed as it would seem to be a popular question. Nonetheless, I performed a search in this sub-forum prior to posting this thread and found no such post.
To the point... I will be acquiring a Rolex Datejust (Oyster Perpetual) in about a week and I am excited about the gift. I have done a bit of research on this site, however, and have found that the Jubilee bracelet fits up to a 7.5-8 inch wrist. The problem is that my wrist size is about 8-8.5 inches. Is there any way to purchase individual links to add to the bracelet size or am out of luck? If adding links is not a viable solution, does Rolex offer any bracelet alternatives that would fit my wrist? Ill-fitting watch bands is a person pet peeve of mine so I am anxious to hear of solutions. Thanks in advance for any responses. I am completely new to luxury watches and my knowledge is minimal at best. -Vince |

Well, I got restless and decided to call a jeweler instead.
For those who may have the same question in the future: It appears that the watch is made to fit a "normal man's wrist" at about 8" or less. Links can be added at a cost of approximately USD$135 a piece. For an 8.5" wrist, the jeweler said that one (maybe two) additional links would be needed. |
