1999 Submariner two tone-Too much $

Hi Guys,
Seeking further advise.I have located 1999 Submariner two tone(steel/gold) with Blue dial.It has papers and books.
The dealer is asking $6350.00 Aussie dollars. Is that the going price?
It seems a bit high?
Look foward to any feedback
Andrew

I just sold an "F" model 2 tone, Blue Dial. "F" series is 2004-2005 and I sold it for $5100 USD. The one your buying would be like $6700 USD? If it's at an AD then that about what they get, but do think it is a little high IMO.

Basically the whole sub range has changed very little since 1988/9 just a few minor fonts and slight details to bracelet SEL and clasp. The LV anniversary sub was never a limited addition, just a model to celebrate 50 years of the sub.All LV subs are just standard ref 16610 except for the maxi dial slightly boarded hands and a green bezel insert.I would try one of our trusted sellers on TRF have a look in the sellers who's who forum they could help ypou with a good watch at a better price..
