I would go for the the Sub C, personally, because I really enjoy having the date feature and the Glidelock clasp has spoiled me for all other Rolex when the weather starts to get warmer.

I'm not sure why many consider that. Some people say that but no more explanation. It has fewer components than other chronographs but I don't think that alone makes it the finest (I don't even know what is the definition of finest).

*relative to other chronographs simple construction of movement and easier serviceability (i know some say not a big deal but i say it is as watch techs are not always as passionate about your watch as you are) *rolex proven robustness *and all important common perception of said "finest" quality |

I love the Sub C, but I would get the white dial Daytona first, which I find spectacular, but with a goal to buy the Sub C down the road

Personal taste would make me lean towards the Sub C but whatever sings to you more is the right choice for you. Best of luck

My choice was for the Sub C. I flipped my 116520 (white dial) to get the Sub. It was a safe queen that I rarely wore & I have zero regrets on letting it go. Beautiful watch for sure but for me, the chase to find one was more rewarding than ownership. As for the Sub C, it is hands-down the best watch I have owned to date & I doubt I will buy another watch for a very long time....it's that good.

depends on the state of your collection...You will adore the daytona....but also the sub...but they are very different. Either way you will be pleased!

Hmm. Thats a tough one. Black Dial Sub-C or Daytona (Black Dial) I would get the Daytona.
