Icon5 % discount for Deepsea in Singapore?

Hi

Please advise, the recommended retail price of a Rolex Sea-Dweller Deepsea in Singapore and the amount of discount I would be able to get from an AD, over there.

Please also advise, how many ADs there are in Singapore and who is the best amongst them, based on your experience.

I have visited an AD in Sydney and I was told, the price is A$12 310.00 and there was no mention of discount, as yet. What is the usual discount?

Since I am in Sydney, where should I get the Deepsea from: here in Sydney or import it from Singapore and pay 10% GST plus all the customs duties (I do not know the percentage, unfortunately)?

Thank you.

The oldest AD in Singapore would be Lee Chay they have been in business for 30+ years and is the first Rolex dealer in Singapore. As for discounts it is always better that you know the price before hand. This would be a better leverage for discountthan to just ask for it. Happy shopping.

I got my Air King from Dickson Watch & Jewellery back in 1995 in Singapore. They has been there since 1984 and are based in Hong Kong. Good Luck.

Hi

I thank you for all the response and advice.

A collector advised me, I should get the model ref 16660 with a matte dial instead, since it is a rare and collectible vintage-watch, while the Deepsea is a current production and I can always get it, at anytime.

For one moment, I thought the hunt is over. Apparently it is not so.

Nevertheless, I thank all respectable members for their participation.

Thank you.

If you can get the watch at a good price in singapore, wear the watch in and send the box over via registered post.

You may want to consider the US sellers since the AUD is very good for importers now.

I just got back from the Hour Glass in Taka (Singapore), they mentioned that the discounts on Rolex is capped at 15%, even for gold models. Anyone heard differently?
