New Panerai 382
Any Panerai enthusiasts here who can recommend where to purchase the upcoming 382?
I have been to 3 Tourneau stores and all told me that they are. Prepaid and prresold. I m now in AHawaii and hearing the same sh.t. Any guidance will be appreciated, as I don't wish to buy on second market with usual added premium! Marty |

Marty, the ADs are right. Unless you know someone who knows someone who knows someone, all the 382 has been "picked up" by the collectors hours and hours after shown at SIHH this year.
I would love one myself and is still "working hard" on locating that someone I need to know... Good luck in your search though. |

Your AD's speak the truth. The "Bronzo" is incredibly unique to Panerai in several ways. I knew full well they would be spoken for quickly. I didn't end up putting my name on the list, only because I wanted to see the dial in person. I'm not sure how I feel about green, although I'm sure it looks right at home with a bronze case. I wouldn't have hesitated if it had a tobacco dial, though. I would have been all over that one!

Bronzo with a tobacco dial, maybe that's in the upcoming 2012 SE range?

what i have learnt over the years is that... put the name down if you get a chance, especially for those "difficult" to get ones... worst case scenario is to say "no" after the inspection |

I thought all the special editions, Bronzo included are only available at the boutiques. I myself am on a list at the Firenze Boutique.

Leeye: That's a question only Sig Bonati knows the answer to at this point. :-) I can only hope!
esm: You're right about that. If opportunity knocks, go ahead and open the door. If past performance is any indication, MSRP on these pieces is a no brainer when compared to what some grey market dealers will be asking. But, that's a story of its own... timepieceaddict: I believe that's correct. To the best of my knowledge, you would need to put your name on a list at any one of the 24 boutique stores around the world. I still can't wait to see this one in person, even with the green dial. A tobacco dial with the bronze case...that's a tough one to beat in my book, though. Drew |

My only advise is call several boutiques and ask to be put on the wait list for it. No guarantee you'll get the call but imho your chances are a lot better than at an AD. GL
