Rolex oyster datejust stainless steel weird rattling
hi, i am looking for help with my watch that was passed down to me.the watch itself work perfect but when its on my wrist makes a weird rattling noise with general moving around. when i take the watch of and hold the top links and shake it makes no noise witch makes me think its to do with the strap.I have took the watch to several local jewelery shop but they say they wont do work on a rolex,i would just like to know if this is normal for a rolex to do?
thanks |

Do a search for "Rolex rattle" and you will see that this is a well-known phenomenon.
I have the same rattle on my Tudor sub 76100 (with identical bracelet). |

yeah when i got my new 116000, i also started a thread with the same concern. it goes away after awhile and it's fairly common in new rolex watches. someone said, it's the equivalent to that new car smell...new rolex rattle or squeak in my case.
