Strap Sizing

Do those of you out there that have 44mm PAM's buy a different sized strap for your 47mm pieces? In my case, it would be a 44mm Luminor and a 47mm RAD if it were to be anything.

your getting the case diameter 44mm or 47 mm mixed up with the width of lugs which would be 24mm or 27mm. the case diameter is measured from one side to the end of the crown guard that is where you might be getting mived up.

Unfortunately, the 24mm straps don't look very good on the 47mm rads. The smallest to go is 26mm on the strap size for the 47mm rad, but (as stated above) the OEM size is 27mm.

Bryan...just have to order 26 or 27mm for the new Rad of yours!

You should have seen the look on my wife's face when I told her that the straps on the Luminors do not fit the Rad case...

good luck!

Hey Fellas, I should have clarified- I was referring to the strap length.

I mix it up depending on look I'm going for. My gators are shorter and dressier. I have some soft leathers with medium, long and extra long tail.

Bryan, my OEM crocs standard length fit me perfect with a Rad but on a luminor, I am a bit in between. Your experience may vary...
I guess the rad lugs sit a bit lower?

But do I do it different for a Rad and a Lum? No, I like tail and no tail on them both depending on the strap.

Now, if my Kev would just show up so I can show you what a stupid long, sickly sweet one looks like.....

Here are the ones I wear.

I don't have both styles but don't think that a 3mm difference would require a larger or shorter strap lengh.

Very good info, thanks! I think I'll try both strap makers to custom make a couple of straps for my Deepsea!

Let me try,

Look for the thickness of the strap.

For Rad, I will go got thinner strap which in turn slightly shorter length.

If straps thickness are the same, I will go for same length.

Hope this help a little.
