Vintage GMT master #1675 repair costs?

What's your thoughts?

Case : Good Condition

Crystal : original acrylic crystal broken around the 6 o'clock position.
Needs to be replaced

Dial : 100% original black gilt dial has aged to a yellowish color,
needs cleaning or replacement

Bezel : Doesn't turn - needs cleaning - but in good condition

Movement : Stopped , Needs to be repaired or replaced
with a 1575 movement

Band : Jubilee bracelet - Great condition

How much would a service by an AD in the US cost and can anyone recommend a good place to take it?

A picture would be a big help in getting a handle on the watch. Normal service through Rolex would be about $500 USD.
That would include a new acryllic crystal, servicing, polish, etc...

The problem is that you mention a gilt dial. That might be an area Rolex would attempt to force a dial and hand replacement--BAD!

Does this watch have the small 24 hr. hand normally associated with gilt dials?
Depending on the year your watch may have a 1565 movement. Another thing is the jubilee bracelet. That style is usually associated with a later date than what was normal for gilt examples. My guess is orginal equiment was a 7206 revited with 80 endlinks. (Not that big a deal really ubless total orginally is your goal)

Gotcha! Great looking example!
It's actually a white dial with a great even patina on the dial and hands. Wonderfull! It appears to have the orginal silver date wheel (love the opens )
The insert has faded to a lovely even tone. Definately a watch worth taking your time with and getting a good handle on how you want the restoration to go.

If it were me, I'd make sure the dial and hands were left alone, along with the insert. (at most a new one if you have to but KEEP the orginal.
A service and new crystal will bring the watch up to speed! A sticky bezel is easily corrected by a good tech.

Congrats on a great example! Can't wait to see the "after" shots!!
