Hey Everyone,

I'm new to the forum and don't currently own a Rolex but am looking to purchase one hence the reason for this post. I currently live in Buffalo Ny where I attend school but my permanent home is in Albany Ny. I was wondering if anyone has made purchases at authorized dealers in these two areas. I checked out the Rolex website for AD's but was hoping for some inside tips and more specifically places to avoid or places where the service has been stellar. I am looking to purchase either a Submariner date or a Submariner. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I am a bit green around the gills. Thank you in advance!

There's Tourneau & Wempe, but I would first start here in the FS section. You can find better deals from our trusted sellers.

You can try Reed's Jewelers in Buffalo, Rochester NY,
You can try Mann's Jewelers in Rochester
Henry Wilson Jewelers in Syracuse at Carousel mall (ask for Robert)
Albany is Frank Adams which I can tell you will never discount...I offered to buy 4 watches at once and they said no...
Saratoga Springs has Fox Jewelers (call and ask for Chrissy)
I know Fox's has a Sub no date older style, and an older style Sub LV
You can also try Lorilil Jewelers in Springfield

Do a search for Buffalo (Area Code 716) Rolex watches. There is a very solid reseller in that town with many models for sale. Although not an AD, he is certainly worth checking out. I hear he is topnotch.
