The movie "Unknown" is one giant Rolex DSSD Commercail

The movie "Unknow" staring Liam Neeson is one big Rolex commercial.

It features a DSSD with an engraved caseback. .

The watch is continuously featured throughout the movie for appoximately 10 minutes total with an infinite number of closeups.

Best quote goes to resale value: "Take it. Its worth at least 5000 euros"

Rolex must be the largest sponsor.

Trailer linked:

O; and it was quite enjoyable. Very cloak and daggerish.

Yeah the movie was pretty solid. I was waiting for a scene when Liam was going to use the Deepsea as a weapon for his knuckles, but it never came.

The watch was up for best supporting actor but lost to a macbook. Product placement at its best.

Actually when I saw the watch, I told my wife that it was a technical error in the movie. I can't remember the exact date that was engraved on the watch, which was supposedly given as a wedding gift... 10 years BEFORE the DSSD even existed!!!

Of course, my wife just looked at me funny...

Yes but you have to remember the ending! This explains the watch and 10 years! I said the exact same to my friend in the cinema, then it all made sense!

I'd love to know why someone who owns a Daytona seems to post in every DSSD thread - and then only to make negative comments. I would be inclined to fill my days with something else.

Just watched that movie few days ago. And my thoughts exactly! There was plenty of closeups that lasted well over a minute.

Apparently, he's lost his memory.

It happens to me when wake up Sunday morning after yesterday's pub in Camden Town.

I that case the best way to know who you are is to go to Rolex and ask them to check the serial of your watch. You will probably find out your exact name.
