5513 bezel bi directional and no "clicks"

my bezel on my 5513 sub merely rotates bi-directionally, with no "clicks" like the modern subs, should it be uni-directional and "clicking" or is mine working the proper way?

It's fine.

The unidirectional ratching bezel made it's debut on the 16800. Yours uses a friction fit bezel and is bi-directional.

Sweet!

Just give it a slight down pressure when you turn it. The friction fit (or autolock as it's also called) "Locks" when released back up.
