Looking for opinions...matte dial 16800 or lug hole/SEL 16610???
Hey everyone. Just looking to get a couple quick opinions from the forum. For the same price would you buy...
16800 matte dial, head only or... 16610 lug holes with SEL bracelet

For the same price (16800 head only) I would go with the 16610 with lug holes. Having to buy a bracelet seperately just doesn't make financial sense to me...

Dont know why the 16800 is not as popular among collectors, but like the 16750, it brings the best of vintage and modern. The 16610 can be found everywhere and will be easily found for years to come. Give the 16800 a test drive first.

I've never been a big fan of the matte dial.

Thanks for the input everyone. I decided I'm going to stick to my original plan and spend a little extra money to get a 16610LV back. I've regretted letting mine go since the day I did it.

Most don't consider the 16800 vintage. And while I do prefer the matte dial I wouldn't choose it (without a bracelet) over a lug hole 16610.
