Sub-c question
Is the new sub-c heavier because the bracelet isn't hollow anymore?

Yes, it's true that the Sub bracelet isn't hollow on the ceramic update. I guess that this may contribute to a heavier weight if it is indeed heavier. Perhaps that and the larger case...

Seems as though that would be a contributor to me.

In all honesty the watch does feel a little heavier, and I think the solid bracelet has something to do with that.

My "no" was meant that it's not the MAIN reason. I suspect it's case, bracelet, clasp, etc.
So, I'll change my response to "Yes, somewhat." :)

You'd be talking a maximum of a few grams at most!
I doubt your forearms would grow any larger lifting it around on your wrist.... A well fitted watch is key to comfort regardless of any weight involved!

No. I answered the question correctly. But, I figured to actually add value I'd clarify my response.
My wife doesn't understand that I'm NEVER wrong either... ;)

combination of clasp, bracelet, case all increase the weight of the sub-c over previous years.

The solid links don't add weight because they are much thinner than the hollow links. The clasp adds a bunch of weight though, as do the larger and thicker case and (negligably) the ceramic insert.
