To me this dial is just remarkably beautiful!
It may not be a flawless safe queen like the ones paraded on the main page so often,But this one has an honest beauty that is quite fulfilling is so many
other ways..
If your middle name is perfection,then certainly this is not the watch for you..If however,you are into honest beauty irregardless of a few scrapes and Dings here and there,then this my friend is the watch that you have been looking for!
In the sunlight when the light hits the dial in just the right angle,I tell you honestly it will take your breath away!
At least that's what it does to me!
Here are the particulars..
Pointed crown guard 5512 case is in very good condition plus (85% condition or better)
Very thick lugs and thick crown guards as well..
661,xxx series, readable with loupe..
Twin lock crown in very good condition..
Superdome 19 crystal in very good condition..
Movement is clean and is running very well (not timed)
Hands are replacement I am sure,but they are Original Rolex Tritium hands and match the plot color beautifully..
Thick font insert has a definite chocolate tone to it..
Also comes on a tight Rolex rivet band (not the original..clasp date is 1977')
