Give me BLING....but give me CLASS!!

That's right, guys.....give me BLING with a touch of CLASS!!

Don't need no diamonds, don't need no white gold and don't need no platinum....just a massive dose of BLUE with a dash of gold, spiced with some 904L steel....and you have a winner!!

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is BLING with CLASS!!

Nice pix of Bluey but his style days are numbered.

Make way for the new.

Wonderful pix JJ!!!
And although I too am an owner of a Blue TT Sub...I find it a little "much" to wear it all the time. I think it's THE iconic Rolex watch and will never leave the realm of good taste.
That being said...I have been TOTALLY obsessing about this new SS GMT Master II!!! I'm a basket case!!!

The new GMT is cool but the Blue Sub is still the King,

To quote Lancey Howard in The Cincinnati Kid

"You're good, kid, but as long as I'm around, you're only second best."

PS

Great pics JJ, love your avatar & signature Eddie

I would believe so too. I would pick the TT blue sub over ss gmt II anytime. I mean you can spot it a mile away! But I won't be wearing it everyday cause it don't go with my work nature, or does it!? Still my dream watch, but I have other commitments for now so I have to shelf the plan.

Beautiful pics as always JJ.
I'm amazed that the gold centrelinks and the clasp have no scratches, the watch looks brand new!

To me, the black TT Sub is along the lines of a black tuxedo, classic and refined. The blue TT? Well, sort of like this blue velvet tuxedo.

Best part about owning a couple of Rollies. You fall in love with each over and over again.

It's a beautiful watch, a friend of mine has one but still too much bling for me. Not a big fan of color on watches except for the lettering, hands, date etc. Would you wear the Blue with a green sweater/shirt? Or the LV with a blue shirt? The fashion police would shoot to kill!

I am with you on this one, but would probably pick the 2-tone with a black face. It's always nice to have simple elegance.

JJ nice pics, but I disagree with the TT Blue Sub being iconic. I would say the SS Sub or the 18K DD.I would say the Bling Factor would have to be an 18K Sub with Black dial.

Thanks, Mikey. I've always maintained that the SS Sub-date is still the ULTIMATE and quintessential Rolex out there.
