Open 6 and 9

ok, so I'm looking around, pricing silver date wheels (specifically for a 1675) and I remember reading a thread about all 6's and 9's were open on the wheel. However, I just found a wheel in another forum, and all of the 6's and 9's were open except for 26.

So, that being said, is that correct? Oh, and how much do they normally cost. I know they are no longer made, just a round about figure needed.

I seem to remember hearing someone talking about a silver "open 6" date wheel going for between three and four hundred dollars. I have never tried to buy one so at the time I was not sure if that price sounded high or not.

My Datejust 1603 has all the 9s and 6s open, there is also a 60s 1675 for sale on the Blowers website which shows the date at 26, with the 6 open.

I think you need to deermine what year the GMT 1675 you are going to put the date wheel into is before you can determine if a date wheel with a closed "6" in "26" would be correct or not. I think that that date wheel was used in later model 1675's.

You might e mail Steve Mulholland and ask him or one of the mods here may knwo as well.
