thinking about getting a Panerai

Good Day All,

I have been looking at some Panerai's for a few months but I cannot decide on what one to get, I think I one of these ones;

1. Pam 000
2. Pam 113
3. Pam 024

What one has better resale value (I know the cost is different but what one would I lose less % of the retail value if I sold it, In cause I don't like it)?

Thanks,

Eric

If you can find a zero that would be my bet from the list you provided. Don't buy a watch based upon resale value, buy what you like. The zero you can't go wrong on resale either. 112 is also a nicer starter PAM.

I do like the Zero but I am not sure if a leather stap would work well for me, that is why I have been looking at the 024 also.

Both the 000 and 024 come on gator/leather/rubber strap.

If you buy any of them used, you won't lose money on any of them.

If you buy it new, here is the order I would geuss that is best (least loss) to worst (most loss)

000
024
113

If you are not sure about wearing a watch on a leather strap, I would probably recommend looking at another brand altogether. One of the coolest things about owning a Panerai is playing with all the strap options and the bracelets don't tend to be as popular.

Fourth day with my PAM 164 on an OEM alligator strap and tang buckle, and I agree completely.

I chose the Pam 000 for my first one a couple of months ago and I am still a very happy man.

I think the 000 and 112 will hold about the same % resale value - maybe the 000 marginally better.

I payed the full MSRP of $4,400 fpor this one, but they threw in a nice Croc Strap for free. Much easier some times to get a free OEM strap than a discount.

Yeah I got the same deal when buying my Pam88, but I got that through my normal AD.

The Pam000 was purchased elsewhere, so I didn't have any previous relationship.
