Picked up a speedy -

Well I picked up a Speedy to see if it will grow on me. Does anyone know if the is a reference of how many links are on the 12 and 6 sides. The watch came with 5 links loose. One looks like a half link.

Actually I have quite some stories to share. My boss and Gen Tom Stafford are very good friends. Tom has shared quite a few wonderful Omega stories and is currently on the board of Omega. He has a Solid 18K YG speedy that was presented to him. He wears the same watch that I just picked up, SS Speedy.

Thanks all.

Congrats.

Well I just put links back in. It now goes on my 7.5" wrist. This wears very nice.

Better shot of moon watch.

Stories or it didn´t happen

Congrats on the Speedy.

My first "real" watch, bought when I turned 18. (sold it unfortunatly some years later to fund a Rolex )
Had around 5 Speedys during my time. I have a newer now, and it stays.
Simple, classic, beautiful

Very nice.

Every WIS must own at least one Speedy Pro.

Looks better on your 7.5" then my 6.5" but still love mine.

Next up for that beauty should be the black omega alligator and deployant. It will look even better.
