Daytona with no fliplock?

Hi, guys.
Anybody heard of a Daytona without a fliplock on the bracelet? Is it a rare one?

I don't know the year, but anything older than maybe a early 90's wouldn't have the flip lock? Someone will chime in soon enough with specifics...

My first Daytons did not have it.
Circa mid 70's.
Don't wear one without it.

Hi there,
I guess you mean the saphire models which is the 16520.
1st series end of 80s was produced with a standard Oyster bracelet such as the 78360 even without polished middle pieces.
Surely, all Daytonas before that were handwing ones (6263, 6265....) and had folded or riveted bracelets also without fliplock clasp.
Best regards,
Axel
