royal oak
hi there
i have alot of rolex watches and i think i need to get a few more non rolex watches... and who else can i depend on than WIS to give me advice what do you guys think about the 40mm royal oak chrono? i want one with a white dial is it a true classic?? btw im not intrested in the offshore, i know its a hot watch and so on but i think i much prefer the 40mm royal oak thanks |

Yes, it is a true classic, but if Rolex service makes your eyes water, wait for the five year service bill on this one!!! But damn, I would love to have one! One of my true alltime faves!

My personal fav is the Royal oak offshore rubber clad, but I wont be able to afford one for a few years :(

Not much of an RO fan, but I do like the TT version with the dark grey dial which has a lot of tiny squares on it (not sure of the exact name for such a dial). That is very beautiful.

Sorry but the RO does nothing at all for me,think its quite a ugly
watch and very much overrated,but hey I am not a fan of the modern Daytona either.

I can't stand the RO or really much of anything AP produces. This is prolly why the OQ doesn't do anything for me too... similar dated design (sorry guys).

I like them in pictures, but I've never seen one in person. I did get to try on a guy's RO Offshore though, and man that thing was bloody gorgeous and HUGE!
