hey guys, when you set the date on your watch how do you know if its gonna change the first time the hour hand hits 12 or the second?
what i mean is i changed my date at 9 pm with the date for that day, then next day at 7am it still had last nights date? i hope you get what i mean

You have to advance the hour/minute hands one 12 hour cycle.

You dont, until... using this new theory discovered recently called the Rolexium time continuim: if it changes first time then its at 12 midnight and if it doesnt i the time is 12 noon . Adjust accordingly using the rolex winding theory to continue advancing time more commonly known as the Rolexium time continuim as previsouly stated.

Just adjust it according to AM or PM at the time you want. The full circle turn (12hrs) before upon which the date jumps is the PM and the next full circle (12hrs) will be AM. 12 hr day + 12 hr night = 24 hr (a full day).

No, that only works for you because you're south of the equator. I think he bought an Australian watch instead of a U.S. one. I think he needs to take it back to the dealer.

All you need to do is set the date for the previous day... In other words if your setting your watch today (8-25) you would set the date for 8-24, then advance the hour hands to the correct time on the correct date... for AM pass 12 (ONCE) and for PM pass 12 (TWICE)... this way you can always be assured you have the date set correctly

+/- 3% statistics rule does not apply.

I look at my iPhone for the correct date, compare it to my watch and adjust + or - a day. or two. Some months have 30 days, some have 31 and one has 28. I figure at some point it'll be correct !

thats what ive been doing just maybe thought there was an easier way, cause i have put the wrong date on school assignments because of that...

i guess i should wear it more so it doesn't run out of wind so often

I just look at the 24 hour hand to know if it's AM or PM then adjust accordingly (sorry, couldn't find the "smart-ass" emoticon).
