Just wondering if anyone can identify the model of rolex watch in this photo. The article seems to indicate that it is a rolex but I am not sure what model it is.

VANCOUVER – A 34-year RCMP veteran who sports a Rolex watch, a broad smile and a law degree has been appointed the new head of B.C. Mounties.

Assistant Commissioner Peter Hourihan replaces Deputy Commissioner Gary Bass who takes on a larger regional role.

“Assistant Commissioner Hourihan’s diverse and comprehensive experience in the RCMP will provide him with the background and skills he needs to take on this challenging role. I have always admired his leadership skills and common sense approach to problem solving, ” said Bass. “He has a proven track record of putting the public’s needs first and I know that British Columbians will be well served by this appointment.”

Hourihan, who was recently the criminal operations chief for Alberta, holds a law degree from the University of Ottawa.

“I am honoured to have been given this opportunity to serve the people of British Columbia. My philosophy is to learn from the past and to make improvements for a better future. The RCMP strives to be connected to our communities and my commitment is to strengthen those connections through strong communications and relationship building,” Hourihan said.

“Let’s work together to make British Columbia the safest place to live,” says Assistant Commissioner Peter Hourihan.

A formal change of command ceremony will take place on February 11, 2011 at the Seaforth Armouries.

Yep. I think it is a tag aquaracer or if older, a tag professional.

I think the article has another error - he is not 34. May be 43.
