Greetings from Chicagoland

Owner of a wonderful Y Series GMT-II Black/Black I got in Sept 03 new. It's my daily driver; has a few scuffs and scratches on the bracelet and clasp, top still looks quite nice with some beauty marks on the bezel. When I got it I needed an extra link, my only upgrade.

Hi!!! :D

BIG welcome to TRF, Paulie!

Tell me: Do you actually USE your Rolex? I mean for real?? And you do not mind it getting scratches etc.?

Fascinating!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!!!

Been lurking for about a week, finding all the pictures of white face Explorer II's... and then set my watch time to see how well it holds time and it appears I gained 12 seconds since yesterday. ... time for service I see.

Now, to decide if I go to an AD for a calibration, or send it for the full treatment at the service center, then find someone who wants to trade for an Explorer II (I blame JJ for this because of his awesome review)... decisions decisions. :D

Thanks again everyone!

Pic of the daily driver. Picture shows it needs a good scrub, though it was in the shower this morning...
