Mine has C2H.
Had this discussion on an old thread. Apparently it's just a random code now, like the serial codes. Understand the clasp codes on older Rolexes do reference to a certain date. |

All the Internet codes could ever tell you was a aproximation when a case or clasp was stamped. And not when a completed watch was fully assembled and shipped to a AD for sale. And as the Subc is a new watch and launched at Basel 2010 you can safely say your clasp was stamped sometime toward mid 2010 till present time 2011.

Thanks all
I didn't appreciate that Rolex also introduced Random Clasp Codes too. Mods - please close this thread. |

Why its just a bunch of numbers much like on anything you buy like say TV fridge etc do you ask them when it was made. And will one case/clasp stamp last longer than any other case/clasp stamp. If bought new you get the same two year warranty no matter what the letters numbers are. And all any of the Internet codes could ever tell you was a approximation when a case/clasp was stamped and not when a complete watch was made. And in general its only the very slow models like say gold ones are at the AD long enough to gather dust.
