If I Was Going to Buy a Daytona....

It would have to be this one. I've never really looked at Daytonas much because black or white dials just aren't my thing, but this one has me rethinking them.....

Yeah, for sure. Although that ebayer has a really good rep I'd probably still see if greekbum could find me the same watch if I was actually ready to buy.

Dont see one of these too often

That's one I've never even seen a pic of. I think I'd staring hard at that one, too.

If I had to bet on it, in this case I'd bet it's real. I researched TRF and other sites previously on this seller and they're known for being legit. In fact I saw this pretty one because I was looking to see if they still have a Sub they had listed recently. Think that's one's been rehomed though.

the one on the left in the picture below??

the one the OP is looking at is the "steel dial" and saw 2 of them at an AD in KL, Malaysia but didn't get a chance to take a wrist shot. price after discount was about USD15,000

A good friend of mine has a "steel" dial Daytona and it looks really sharp.

Yes sir, that's the one!! Thanks for the pic

For me, it was a toss up between that gorgeous blue-dial Daytona and the Sub-c TT blue. I went with the SUB because (I beleive) its a better value and a more "updated" model. Also, I beleive ill do MUCH better if I ever decide to sell it.

Daytona TTs get hammered in the secondary market

I also noticed that the Daytona wore much smaller than the new SUB-c., noticeable on my 7.5" wrist

Needless to say that this particular Daytona is stuck in my head

buy them pre-owned and it hurts much less. but it's pretty hard to find TT Daytonas with nice dials.

i know how it feels to want so many different Daytona dials...

You're right! Its usually white/black/champagne pre-owned TT Daytonas that pop up everywhere. The dark blue Arabic numbers on bracelet is pretty rare (and at the right price of course)

Wow, that is a pretty one. The only thing I'd want to change would be to get rid of the red hands in favor of gold ones. But that's just me, I bought an older Turn-O-Graph to get the gold hands too.

This is my choice

I purchased the 18 Karat yellow gold with cream dial but had the dial changed because their was not enough contrast with the yellow gold.

Nice looking for sure but check with Tony (JustRolexes) or DavidSw here on TRF, they can get you a great deal and I would feel safer buying from them then E-bay

I have bought from Chris (watch-chest, in Branson, Missouri) and he is
totally legit and great to deal with; I'm sure that daytona (which is
awsome looking, BTW) is kosher. Also, his prices are slightly lower
if you buy direct rather than through ebay.

The blue arabic two tone is quite common in Europe.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ROLEX-DAYTON...item588ebda63bI have found that the slate dial unless its in very bright light, tends to "wash out" the look of the watch... It looks so good in pictures, but I would choose a different dial personally... The blue Arabic gets my vote... look at the link above... it shows what I mean...

Yeah, it does. I keep going back and looking at it, that's not a good sign at all.

The Daytona with all the dial variations is special. Something for everybody...just at a premium for TT/Gold.

The one your looking at here is a great watch. Good choice but I would look towards the trusted sellers here for a blinding deal on one.

im not sure, it looks like it could be a dial combo, but then again, you always want to be careful when using ebay. try to find one from one of the trusted sellers on TRF if you decide to buy
