Big congratulations on both fronts. Now get some sleep while you can, before your new born arrives...

Wow! And I was pretty proud of myself for getting a 15% discount at an AD in Toronto, on a GMT II without even trying! I guess I should have tried!
Congratulations on both fronts!!! |

I got a 25% discount on my SubC in Toronto. Had to leverage a contact for it though. I was offered a 22% discount with no negotiation however.
I have heard of 30% discounts in southern Ontario and smaller cities though. The discount originally helped to balance our ludicrously high MSRP ($8400 for a sub) compared to the pre-price increase US MSRP. Also because of our dollar. Neither of those two factors are in play as much now. I went to my AD a couple months ago and they stated that now my 'super special discount' would be 22%, maybe 25% if I was extremely lucky and that they are gradually starting to remove discounts altogether (as per Rolex demands) on SS models. |

I'll say that the story doesn't sound ridiculous from my own experience and that of many TRF members. This has been discussed many times on the forum. |

Congrats!
Here in Los Angeles the biggest discount I have been able to be offered after months of talking to my local sales rep (AD) is 10% off (but had to promise to name my first born after the sales person). |
