Downton Chicago Rolex stores?
Hi everyone. First post here on TRF. I'd like to first thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I am learning a lot and really enjoy hanging out with you guys.
I am going to be in the market for a GMTc II TT (116713). I wanted to know if anyone has a store that they have purchased from in the past. I was also wondering if they do not have it in stock, is this something they can order for me? and what can of numbers I am looking at? I will be purchasing in early December. Jared in St. Charles told me that I am looking at 10,5 out the door. (my apologies if this talk is not allowed). |

I have not purchased a Rolex from a AD in Chicago. I recomend you stay away from the Rolerx Boutique on Michigan as they won't give you a discount. Tourneau actualy runs the boutique. If you have decided to go the AD route I would recomend going to the Rolex website locate the Ads in your area and start making some calls. This way you might be able to get a better idea of what they have and what deal you might be able to get. They can order one for you if they don't have it.

I would look at the TRF for sale section. You will find a MUCH better deal.

Sidney Garber...not sure if you can haggle a discount unless you buy a piece of jewelry at the same time. Never bought a watch there but have bought a few shiny items for my significant other.

My first post. I am a JLC collector, but my first Rolex was at Howard Frum. Just thought I would chime in.
