Can you remove the cyclops from a 16610 crystal ?

Quickest and easiest way take crystal off watch remove gasket put on ceramic block use a small torch pointed at cyclops it will pop off in about 10 seconds. No Damage to either, then clean glue off crystal and install. Rikki
