I am in the market for a Omega Speedmaster Automatic #3510.50
I really like the Reduced 38mm size because I have very skinny wrists. I have about $1000 saved up for my next watch (I was saving for a 16610 sub) but i got the itch for a OMega. I love watches but my collection consists of 4 watches right now a MOvado Sport, a Rado Jubilee, a Buam n mercier Capeland S, and a Rolex Datejust. I think the speedmaster would be aq nice addition to my collection and was looking around at E-bay and found alot of japan sellers selling Omega. Has anyone bought a omega off ebay from Japan?
What should I expect to pay for Omega Speedmaster Automatic #3510.50 in mint condition with box and papers and one without box and papers? I belive that this watch is no longer produced so what years was this watch produced? What should I expect to pay for service to service this watch when I get it , and how often does it need to be serviced. Thank you for all your help. |

I've seen the 3510 range anywhere between 1000-1350 depending on box and cards. Just check the feedback and make sure you get a good seller. There are a few that I would trust so be on the look out for a good deal. A service depends on who you go to but through omega there is a repair list. As to being discontinued I believe they still make this movement

there is a couple of reputable japanese sellers jmryshi, sabashiyakiz1 that others have bought from. you might want to look for that thread.
from what i understand the 3510.50 is difficult to service and the chrono module is typically replaced rather than serviced. i would just wear it w.o. service if it keeps time and functions |

The reduced is wind only, I never wind my automatics just put them on a winder when I am not wearing them.. Can someone please confirm the service needed on a 3510.50. Because if the service is 1\2 price of the watch them I'm out .. I can see paying $500 to service a $5000 watch but not a $1500 watch..
Can someone give me some more info.. And if it is going to be a speed master then the reduced it will be because I love the size of it, it's perfect size..that's why I got a ratites which is 36mm and I like the size so 38mm will be perfect.. |

About a week away to pull the trigger I was saving up for a 16610 but am $3500 away .
I only managed to put away $1500 in the last 6 months so thinking of getting this instead of waiting and saving for the sub... I would rather just go with the sub then save for the proffesonal |
