What Does it Mean if the Turn Bezel Doesn't turn real easy?

Can that be fixed or are some subs and sd kinda hard to turn the bezel?

Maybe a simple adjustment to the bezel spring? Maybe straightening it out a bit more?

I found that with my GMT II (16710 Z series "old" style GMT II), the bezel can be impossible to turn when its been in water.

Once dry it turns very easily.

Might be dirty too. Take the bezel off and give it a good cleaning.

Could be dirty--try cleaning gently with a toothbrush.
Could be the spring is a bit stiff---you can try adjusting--BE CAREFULL! The little spring can have a mind of it's own. LOL!

i agree.... it is probably dirty. also it depends on when was the last time you turn the bezel. i have seen one of my dad's friend's pepsi GMT that he never turns the bezel. and when i do try to turn it, it was more like opening a jar. when i did finally turn it all these grime and dirt fell off from underneath the bezel
yikes!! lol i dont think he clean his watches at all

Hmmm, my GMT is a Y series from 2003. Never been cleaned and the bezel rotates very smoothly. I don't rotate all that often, but when I do, it's fine.

Well the bezel is meant to be quite firm in its turning, but should
turn in small graduations with a positive slightly resistant action.

I wouldn't fix it, if I were you, since those bezel are not supposed to turn easily.

Don't fix it if it aint broken!

The bezel of the Explorer II has a FIXED bezel (cannot turn at all from start on). That is why I laughed at Chad's joke
