Question about Date

I have always wondered this, on some of the Rolex's you have the Date on the 3. My question is, do you always have to adjust your Rolex to correspond with the real date? For example, Februrary's only having 28 days, then on the Rolex it will say 29 when it's March 1st. Also on days that have 30, on the Rolex it will say 31? Is this something that you just have to deal with and change all the time?

Yes you have the adjust the date yourself every month there is less than 31 days. Other watches are the same anyway. Im talking about non-digital ones.

It personally doesnt bother me at all. It only takes like a minute or two to do.

On the Datejust models, it simple because you can adjust the date separate from the time. On the GMTs, you will have to advance the time to move the date.

Yep! Or get a non date model.

But, with a quick set date, it's not bad at all.

Or a radio-controlled wristwatch like Junghans

Then you don't have to care about ANYTHING: Date changes correctly (also spot on at midnight), accounts for leap years automatically and has a precision of +/- 1 sec in a million years.

But wouldn't it be boring and soul-less to have such a watch??

I'd rather live with all the small oddities an automatic watch has

I have heard about Junghans watches before. They originated from Germany. Besides radio controlled quartz watches, they also make manual and automatic winding timepieces as well.
