Hi Joren, welcome aboard!

Don't count on seeing that watch on Saturday. By the time it clears Customs it'll be more like 2 1/2 - 3 weeks or so. CBSA aren't known for speed of service.

Also, have your credit card handy when it arrives. Expect to get dinged 14% in PST and GST plus $5 handling fee. If it's coming by courier (UPS, FedEx, etc) there'll also be a courier service processing fee. I've ordered at least a dozen watches from outside Canada and that's always been the case for me.

Congrats! Alan Furman has a great reputation, I don't think you have anything to be worried about.

Alan Furman doesn't remove the serial numbers from their watches.

Nope. I don't like their prices, as good as they are.

In researching Alan Furman, I came across nothing but positive comments.

Obviously very excited about seeing the watch first hand and slapping it on my wrist with pride. Watch this space as I'll report back on the final product and provide pics. To this point they have been very quick in getting the watch to me (ordered Monday, shipped Tuesday) and have been courteous on all communications.

I know I'm taking a risk by not going with an AD but the discount coupled with the tax savings was convincing enough. I have not seen anything negative on Furman and hopefully I can continue to endorse them come Saturday!
Congrats for your coming Rolex!!!!!!!!
