Exp II black, white or Green cont.............

I have had some bad times in the last couple of years.

I had to leave a sucessful business through no fault of my own I might add.
which meant I did not have the finances to own a Rolex when I used to own a few watchs, but needs must and of course the families needs come first.

Well I picked myself up and now I am employed by a large company have been there less than 18 months and have now been promoted to lead the team I used to work with in of course this has meant a nice salary increase.

So I decide I would buy the Exp II black dial 42mm I know some one has posted early about the watch.

I was very disapointed with it when it finally arrived The crown is to small for size of case hard to operate with my fat fingers!! Because the size of the watch has increased the steel bezel seems very narrow almost drawing in the watch and making it appear smaller than it is(IMO anyway)

When I picked up the Exp the ad had an LV ceramic sub in the window

I put it on my wrist and the dial is amazing it really smiled at me. I knew I could not afford two watches I paid a deposit on the sub any way (gulp what will the wife say)

Of course I was able to sell the Exp quite quickly as its the Rolex of the moment .

I now have the LV on my wrist and after being a serial flipper its now on my wrist for good.

Please note I am not try to put down the exp it is a nice watch but I guess its just not for me .

My first Rloex was a sub so deep down excuse the pun I am a sub guy

Pics to follow

best sean

Glad you found a watch you really enjoy. It's a good think you sold the explorer because if it did not "sing" to you, then you could not justify the money spent and also you would never get full satisfaction out of the watch.

I LOVE the green sub and had one pass through my hands before and I absolutely loved it. The dial is purely stunning and the green tone Rolex picked against their 904L steel looks SUPERB. Good choice mate!
