A grail in the stable...

I've lusted for this piece for quite some time. It always evaded me, mostly due to price, potential trades or lack of availability. The stars aligned this week and this was delivered by our very own DSW (Thanks, David!):



Seriously, pictures do it no justice at all. It is spectacular in the metal. I now have four pieces that I just can't see selling or expanding upon. Daytona, SD, Speedie Pro and IWC 3717. Maybe one too many chronos in the group, but I love all three for their uniqueness and historical significance.

In the end, it was the SubC that I traded instead of the SD. I just can't see me getting rid of the 'Dweller when BNIB are impossible to source. I can always get another SubC. Frankly, I'm staying put for a while.
