GMT II questions (no prior knowlege of this one)

I have been doing massive research on datejust and I know everything to do with them. The problem with the datejust to me is that I would only settle with a turn o graph and not mess with the bezel as I hate just a plain bezel and would go for a diamond bezel but when you do a diamond bezel the piece becomes only for dressy uses. A datejust II is just too big. Now someone brought up a possible GMT. I don't know model numbers or anything but don't really have 20-40 hours to research and learn about this. I am looking at a ROLEX GMT MASTER II FACTORY SLATE RUBY AND DIA DIAL# 16713
that was just refinished. that has a D serial.. If my research is right that is a 2005 model or is it like a 1999? What makes a watch a ceremic and what does that mean. Also anyone know what the average price of something like that is? That piece looks like it can be worn in any condition weather casual or dressy without me having to alter the watch by getting and after market bezel. Also what is the difference between this 16713 and a 116713 any major changes?
