Hi, just wondering which are the most collectible Breitlings?

The ones that come to my mind:

Yellow dial Longitude with black totalizers, as in Panda dial. Very popular.

Navitimer Airborne. Besides a sixty-second totalizer, there was also one for three hours and one for ten minutes, which many preferred.

Chronomats with Air Team logos like "Blue Angels," "Red Arrows," etc., and the 10-year anniversary Chronomats.

The Emergency, of course.

The Cosmonaut for having the 24-hour face is always a favorite.

The UTC is something people tend to consider and want after buying a Breitling, and they're not so easy to find, so they have become somewhat difficult to procure, especially since people want to find the one that matches the dial color of the watch itself.

Bullet bracelets have been discontinued and are still popular.

That's all I can think of right now, and these are just my perceptions from having owned and followed Breitling for close to twenty years.

Just remembered that the Premier is also very collectable, which was a remake of the old classic and came out for two short runs; the first without a date, which only lasted a year or two, and the second with a date, which was a bit larger.

Of the two, I believe the one without the date is the more sought after, and the silver dial is prized more than the black dial.

I have a three dial Premiere made in 1947. I think the two dial ones are more common.

For modern Breitlings, I would say the Breitling for America Chronomat Evolution. If I can recall, they are numbered up only to 250 pieces (or maybe 500?). Either way, pretty rare and collectible.

How about the Navitimer Rattrapante? They only made 25 each in YG, WG and Platinum I believe. Does limited production = collectibility?

There are some older limited editions that were produced in smaller numbers that are more collectible. The Chrono Avenger Rattrapante comes to mind as there were only 25 of them produced, and you almost never see one for sale.

Breitling's more recent limited editions are in the 1,000's which to me is not very limited.
