Opinions please....:)
Hey guys,
I used to be a rolex guy, but sold my watch collection due to financial crisis, but things are slowly going back to normal and its time to get another watch. I currently own and wear a PAM 005 bought a couple of months ago and I really liked it a lot. Now I'm saving for the Pam 088 GMT, but a friend is selling his Pam 112 for a good price. Should I grab the 112 or save up for the 088? Need some opinions from owners...thanks |

I'm getting warmer to the 88. Wasn't a big fan in the beginning but liking it more and more... esp those with the tritium dials. Of the two though, I would go for the 112 - but really - the 111 is the one I would go for in that sort of price range.

thanks for the replies. I also like the 111, but it looks very similar to my 005 except for the dial and the caseback...while the 112 somehow looks different without the seconds hand... the 088 is almost twice the $$ against the 112

Reading your posts, sounds like you should save for the 88, it'll be well worth the wait...

The 88 is great!
Maybe flip the 005 for the 112? 112 + 88 would be a great combo, in the sense that the ultra simplicity of the 112 will contrast more with the 88 than the 005. But, that might just be splitting hairs. No matter what, I think you made the right call to not go 005 + 112 when what you want is the 88. ![]() |

Agree. The 112 would simply have been a distraction for you. The 88 is the one you want.

Thanks, the 088 is definitely a must have for me, but Cru's reply made me think...sell the 005 and get the 112? sandwich dial vs logo... oh man...I shouldnt have bought one in the first place...Pams are so addictive..
