Anyone own a silver centenary box?

I saw one from from a collector and it looked really cool. Seemed like a nice box to store a vintage watch (might just pick up the watch that used to go in there). Just curious if anyone has one of these and their thoughts before I go ahead and pick it up.

Ahh, very cool. Didn't know what it was before now. Do you mind taking a photo of the inside?

here's the inside. just a wood inner. I believe the original package came with a felt lining and a watch holding thing but I still like the box since it's really cool looking.

I love these old boxes.
I once owned an Omega box from the 60es, made entirely of black alligator. The box belonged to a gold Constellation I bought.

Many of the vintage boxes from the 40-60es are made of wood inside. The "watchholder" can be taken out of the box.
The reason is that the customer could then use the box for cigarettes.
These were the smokind days

yeah I have another brass box more of a square that has the same wood inner with felt lining. I love these old boxes much more than the current ones. Gave a little something special to the package
