Latest Arrival - SOH 46 Bronze

so yeah, my first Breitling is finally here.

fancied one of these a couple of years ago in black/black combo because of its clean/simple dial, and thought the 46 was too big and the 38 was too small.

anyway, bumped into this BNIB SOH46 Bronze the other week from an AD and the price was too good too miss, so pulled the trigger.... just as well it came on the Ocean Classic bracelet.

i think the Bronze bezel/dial combo will be able to "balance" my current sports watch collection... it'd add more colour to it IMO

pix - everyone likes pix, so here they are

it came with a bezel protector - Oscar will be proud of me

outdoor cloudy day wrist shot

i have to say - the Ocean Classic Mesh bracelet is very comfortable. it certainly adds abit of weight to the watch, but it is quite wearable overall.

Orange is my 2nd fave colour - i am very happy with this purchase and i look forward to spending more time with it

The watch design per se is nice and clean, however the size and color is not my cup of tea.

Isn't there a 42mm version coming?

Wear it in good health!

Thanks guys.

Really enjoying this piece. Better than I thought i would be to be honest.

Understand the colour and size may not to everyone's taste, but hey, that's probably one of the reasons why this WIS game is so much fun

I recall seeing 42mm versions somewhere, especially the Limited Edition with green bezel and black dial. By default I would gone for that, but that is too much of the looker of the 16610LV. So I was never tempted

Really liking the way it sits on the wrist. Not too tall at all.

Here is another wrist pic when the sun came out today. Loving it

In my search for a sport watch, I was just looking at the bronze SOH on the website. It sure is a beauty. Congrats.

Eric, that is awesome.

PS: Is the Bvlgari ring a wedding band? I have the same wedding band, but mine is the 3 stacked one hahaha.

This is an awesome watch. I have it in black and you are right the mesh bracelet is unbelievably comfortable and nicely balances the large watch head.

thanks Norman - i enjoy wearing it very much

the Bvlgari ring is one of about 4 rings i usually wear on my wedding finger. the real wedding ring is on my Cross necklace, so it is with me all the time. the Bvlgari ring is a few years old now, and it is one of my favourite fashion rings. i have been looking for a replacement Bvlgari ring, but just havent got the time to "follow it through" yet

out of the strap combo for the SOH, i think the mesh gives it a great sports and classy balance
lucky i dont have hair arms.... otherwise it can be quite painful me thinks

Actually I have hairy arms and the mesh is so tightly woven that it never catches a hair.

Super Watch

I have the same watch in black -- of my three watches (Rolex GMT, Omega PO, and Breitling SOH), the SOH gets the most attention and compliments. Congrats on the purchase.

Probably my favorite Breitling design, and gorgeous color. Congrats! Too big for this wrist, however - I'd need the 42.
