I'm sorry, but you can't use or say that....
....its Rolex's registered trademark:
Rolex Oyster (be careful what you order at your next seafood bar) Cerachrom Cosmograph Crownclasp Datejust Day-Date Daytona (they might have a problem with this one) Easylink Everose Explorer (those who actually explore will now be referred to as wanderers through the wilderness) GMT Ice GMT-Master Goldust Jubilee (didn't Queen Elizabeth have one of those a few years ago?) Milgauss Oysterclasp Parachrom Paraflex Pearlmaster Perpetual (Einstein is rolling over in his grave right now) President (anybody notify Obama yet?) Ringlock Rolesium Rolesor Rolex DeepSea Rolex Glidelock Rolex Royal Black (that's a new one on me) Rolex Royal Pink (I'm pretty sure I don't want to go there) Sea-Dweller Submariner (let's see you sell this idea to the US Navy) Tridor Triplock Turn-O-Graph Twinlock Yacht-Master Yacht-Master Regatta It seems the only trademarked, copyrighted, homogenized, blended, protected word they didn't include in this list is UNOBTAINIUM, which is the material that most Rolex watches will be made from after their next round of price increases.

Rolex probably would have used unobtainium if Oakley did not already have the TM :)

Sure you can use the terms...but place your (R)'s and/or TM's appropriately. I am certain there are also approved nouns you can use after these words as well.

Also: Steve McQueen's and Paul Newman's names can only be spoken in reference to Rolex. If you want to refer to the actual actor you just say "the guys with the 5512 and 6263 were great in The Towering Inferno."

You forgot: "Imminent price increase."
(though that's more a phrase the AD's coined) :) |
