I do not have one but looked at one and used it at a special open house(with manufacturer reps) at my local pen shop. It is a very nice smooth writing instrument and feels great in the hand...well balanced!!!

I love the nib on the Visconti Homo Sapiens. It's buttery smooth without being super wet. The pen feels nice because it has a bit of grain to it. It's a bit hefty, though.
Good luck and enjoy ![]() |

Just make sure your dealer has a good return/repair policy.
The QC of Visconti can be wanting. |

Well I have an Art Nouveau rollerball. The clip is wobbly since received. Same issue with my Metropolitan Gordian Knot, as well as the $1k Ripple. See the following 2 pictures and note the different locations of the clip tip. Spoke with the distributor and was told this is the case because of the clip design. I don't buy Visconti anymore.

I had one for a while (M nib) and loved it. As with most Visconti pens in general, it pays to look for build/quality defects. Mine initially came with an incomplete Visconti logo on the clip and slightly crooked gold plating on the Pd nib. Both issues were quickly rectified by my outstanding dealer, however. PM me if you'd like his info. Like our trusted sellers here, his pricing and customer service are second to none.
I sold my HS a few months ago simply because I wanted to purchase a Visconti Cosmopolitan LE and couldn't justify having both in the collection at the time. I've missed it ever since. The feel of the lava infused section is amazing and the thing is damn near bulletproof. I'll definitely be picking up another as a daily carry pen in the near future. ![]() |
