watch value advice ( Is this a good value buy??)

do you think that this is a good buy ?

If condition is good and not too much wear on the bracelet I think your dad will be happy with it.

Try to knock the price down a couple of hundred and you'll be fine.

Well I sold a Rolex President 18038 for $7.3K just a few months ago, clean, little stretch and freshly serviced. I would much rather have a sapphire crystal which is about 1986-87 and on. I would not go any older then that and it is easily within your price range if $7,920.

Oic, it does not have a sapphire crystal. i was thinking why is it so cheap, usually a DD would cost at least 14k an above. Alway learning new tips from TRF. :)

Looking at your ad you said it was a 1980 and you were asking 7.5K?

With older DD's it's all in the condition.

In this price range you get a much newer DD.

Here's a 118238 F series that I sold for 14,5 not too long ago.
