Submariner on Ebay

I just won this one on Ebay. Everything looks good to me but I wanted to get the experts opinions before I make payment.

Did you get info from the seller? Is the seller legit?

Looks good but if closeups were availabe, then we can tell more.
The stickers on the SELs looks legit and so does the magnification.

The only problem that can happen is that a legit watch is shown but
the watch mailed is not legit....

But I think you will be ok.... all looks good ...THE WATCH IS GOOD!

BUT

Bringing up legitimacy of a watch at this last minute on which you have been
bidding on for a week seems unfair to the seller ....
Because if someone with less knowledege erroneously raises an issue that
is not relevant, that would put doubt in your head and you will move away from
the sale... and that's not fair to the seller ....because he just lost a sale and has
to wait again....it is always better to bring these issues upfront before you bid
or as early as possible.

Thank you for your insight and help. I agree with you on bringing up legitimacy in the last minute unfortunately I just found this watch the same day I bid on it. Also I was pretty comfortable with the deal (I already have the exact same watch) and the seller has prior positive feedback for a Rolex and a Breitling so I figured it was pretty safe.

sometimes just the description can give it away. the description does not give a bad story or anything, and tells useful information. i would say your OK!

It probably wouldn't help with a counterfeit analysis, but one common strategy used around here to make certain that the seller actually has the watch is to get them to post a photo of the watch with customized information such as your name in the photo ... that would at least help prove that they have the product and are not complete scammers.
