Omega Seamaster 300M AUTOMATIC GMT 2234.50.00
I am looking to purchase an Omega Seamaster 300M AUTOMATIC GMT 2234.50.00. However, the watch seems to have been discontinued. Does anyone know about how much I can expect to pay for such a watch and where I can purchase one?
Thanks |

I doubt there are any NIB as they were discontinued some time ago. It is a stunning watch, probably the best GMT there is, in terms of looks, wrist presence, balance and sheer simplicity of design.
PS mine may be for sale, only because I bought a PloProf... and need funds for the parts it needs!

I have been looking for one as well. I think you will not find a new one but I'm sure there are LNIB GMT's out there. I have been looking on ebay but most of them are a little overpriced in my opinion at $2200-$2500. I would pay a premium for a LNIB if I can find one but not that much.

Bernard Watch Co. website has one for sale - the Great White. I stumbled across this one myself the other day and almost fell in love. After staring at it here and there, I'm not sure now.
I'm working through the justification process for my "weekend" watch; I'm still leaning either Omega PO or Rolex Exp II - Polar. The 300GMT Great White really fits the bill and is half the price of the other two options. I'd need to see it in person - what I don't like about Omega's bezel on their 300's is the flat edges. I realize its function, but I don't like the form. Edit: BTW, I belive Bernard Watch is recommended seller - I'd search the forum tobe sure though. |

Nice but over priced. With discount these cost $1900.00 new and with there popularity you might have to spend 1600-1700 for pre-owned.

I hear ya - i thought it was overpriced as well. I wasn't sure how much they were as new, but the price felt high when you could get a PO for same money.
