It takes 2 to Tango

You know, I do not feel bad at all for the losers who are bidding on the fakes.
It takes 2 to Tango. So as long as there are greedy scumbag consumers looking
for a killer deal on a Rolex, there will be a certain segment that will feed on them...
good luck to both of them...they are made for each other....

I agree... The whole "how does this look" posts rub me the wrong way...trying to see if they past the "duck" test

who, me?

I can understand the pique of knowledgeable members who seem constantly to be asked about authenticity. But I do take umbrage at the "greedy scumbags" label. First, some of these fakes aren't cheap. Second, I may be greedy (I prefer to think of it as careful), but "scumbag" seems just a bit pejorative, even for someone like me. I'm new to watches, but have had an interest for many years in classic cars. People want to buy those and care about the prices too, even when they're very high. Fortunately, at least for me, the fakes are a lot easier to spot. Anyway, I'm here to tell you that I very much appreciate the willingness of members to help others through the mine field of phony watches - and who in doing so make it harder for the crooks to get away with it.
