Cool dude!!!!!!

JJ. Sounds live you have been around and have transacted smartly. Although I do get a little tired of a model, when I rotate the wearing of my watches, its like a re-birthing experience when I come back to putting that watch back on again that I jst referred to as becoming tiresome.

Gedekan: Yes, I am in your neck of the woods, I actually thought you were in Melbourne, Ontario. I'm in South Melbourne.

No, I didn't buy the Milgauss a month or two ago from FTG. The guy who got that was from Queensland and he paid more than 6 times what I paid for mine.

Rock on man!

P.S.: JJ the All Blacks Rule (forever).

And... steering this back on topic...

JJ still hasn't addressed his abuse on his poor first DJ. Letting a mechanical watch lag 10 years without a service is reprehensible.

I think he should drop and give us 200 push-ups for that slip.

Well, with all these Canucks milling about, it's a perfectly natural assumption.

Whoa, did you get a seriously great deal or did the Queensland guy get ripped off big-time?

Milgauss

I did get a very, very good deal, and at the same time the recently purchased Milgauss sold by FTG was purchased for top dollar.

Cheers

Thanks for the reminder, Johnny....I do have a reply for that. At the time, I was in Bombay where importation of Rolex was not allowed. Funnily enough, although we had no Rolex sales outlets, we had an official authorised service centre.

The ba$tard who ran that RSC was a bloody crook....ask Suhail...he may or may not have met him. I had heard such horror stories from others about the quality of service there, that I was too hesitant to give my TT DJ to him. It was working superbly all along because I really do take great care of my watches.

Finally, when opportunity knocked, I sold it off for a profit along with the GMT I had and bought a new GMT-II with some cash back in my pocket.
